Does anybody know whether CMT can affect bladder control? currently have been experiencing slight leakage throughout the day or night, it is not much, but it is now starting to become an annoying issue, what should I do?

As far as I'm aware, CMT shouldn't cause bladder control problems. Leakage, I regret to say, is part of getting older! Do have a chat with your GP about it, and if you still have a concern that it could down to your CMT, then I would suggest that you get a referral to see your neurologist, who can always refer you onto a bladder specialist if you need one.

Hi Karen,
I understand where you are coming from, however I wouldn't of thought the age factor was going to come into it as I am only 24 and this has been ongoing for a couple of years now.

Ah well, I didn't know that! So definitely speak to your GP and/or neurologist and see what they can find out. It may be a separate unrelated problem that can be sorted out.
